Damn this week went fast. As is often the case these days. So good job to Jill for finding a potential opportunity last night. Way to be think outside the box.
So we were thinking of a little trip out west for a week or so. Maybe scout out the area and see what's poppin. The cost of living, esp: Housing, is like, way disproportiante to what we're used to down here in the bowles of America. But from what I hear, the future could be beneficial to an aspiring ACTOR! What, what, what?
So we'll see I what happens. Oh, we met a very nice gentleman today who happens to run a business on Dale Mabry. His name is Nathan and his shops only been open for 3 days and I think we were his 1st customer. And since no one is spending $ these days, he did us a nice favor that he kept referring as an "Out the door" special. So we obliged, and are glad we did. :)
The kicker is I don't even know the name of the company. But I'll post it after I see him next week.
Have a good weekend! (hebben een goed weekend)

Week ahead
Wow, this year is just flying by. Hard to believe it's almost June. So, how was your weekend? Good I hope.
We celebrated Jill's B-Day on Saturday at the Melting Pot. Good food, weird execution. But she enjoyed it, so that's all that matters.
Oh yeah, if you haven't seen Star Trek yet. Ummm, go see it.
And a little kitteh amusement for your enjoyment

Thank you Red Sox Fans!!!
I was browsing local Boston newspapers and came upon some very cool comments about the Ray's beating the Sox tonight @ the Boston Herald, and just had to share. I mean c'mon, how many times do you actually get words of 'ENCOURAGEMENT' from the losing team's fans after a big series? Ummm, in my exp........not once! (until 2night)

200 yrs of respect destroyed in the last 8
I absolutely am addicted to Crooks & Liars and the HuffPo. Mr Amato and friends have loyal following in the blogosphere. One that offers little gems like the clip below. So i hope they don't get mad i posted it. Not to use anything as an excuse, but i didn't have much luck in trying to find any contact info. Sorry. Anyway....Richard Dreyfuss said a few things that put our plight in a different perspective on MSNBC yesterday. Like the fact Europe has a few thousand years on America. And how BushCo has thoroughly trashed any and almost all progress we've made in our nations short lifetime.
Dead on balls accurate i'd say.
Watch (Courtesy of C&L) Thanks John! I
*She seriously needs to lose that cackle*

Might as well
Sweet baby Jesus! 2 more ppl joined the league the other day. Thanks dudes! I figured, since i started posting again, why not try and talk about relevant shit. Hmmm......guess the news is out. Cause just about everything reported is related to death, mayhem, and all around bullshit. So then we take a look at the 360 world, and we find some pretty cool stuff coming down the pipe.
If you haven't yet played the new Star Wars game, you should snappyitdy, snap to it and get to downloading. It's short, but tight. Then of course we have the next evolution in gaming history. ROCK MUTHAFUCKING BAND........TWO!! Bitches!
Yes, it's rad. Yes, it's bad. It's downright the best $$ spent on ANY game on ANY console me thinks. Jill and i have spent many a hour rocking out with our co..errr, shockin out?? Heh, heh. She knows who her Daddy is. Trust me. ;)
So if anyone ever wants to jam out, hit me up on XBL and lez doo it.
Oh and here's sum more pix.....enjoy. Yes, that's a dildo..in a claw game

And here's my baby in the room.
And oops, double post.

Obama! Obama!
Sup bitches? What's that? Where have i been? Nowhere why? I just haven't felt like dealing with this lately. The last thing i want to do after 10 hrs of fixing computers is to come home and sit in front of another computer and blog about my so called life. Meh! I'd rather "veg-surf" on some celebrity gossip, video game shit than copy and paste shit here all night. Double Meh! It's not that i'm lazy. (ok, so what if i am), it's just that trying to keep current AND blog shit about it is lotsa work. I'm watching the DNC right now and it's kind of inspired me to log back in here and type to myself.
So what's new? Nothing here either. The wedding's creeping ever so closer........"Duhn, duhn, duh-duh, Duhn" But i'm not fraeknig otu abuot ti or antyhing. Ha ha. Jus teasin bitches.
Football season's finally back, and i need another couple of manager's for this year's Yahoo fantasy league if anyone's interested. Shit, what am i saying........no one even reads this crap.
Oh well.........such is life on the interwebz. Win some, lose some right?
Oh and Citrus park little league should'a won the W.S. Not Hawaii of all places. But i guess that's better than Mexico right? Oops, oh wait. I can say that cause i'm a spic myself. You know....the one's being deported by the hundreds since the uproar over the border, that is. Here's an interesting article about the situation, and how we're just dropping immigrints off at the border at all hours of the night, children under 13 without their mothers. People who have medical condtions, etc.
So, congrat's Hawaii. You're the world champs! Lahdee frikin dah
Oh and i'd been meaning to put these up before, but you know me. So here's a few pix from our trip down to Ft. Lauderdale. Err, I mean Miami......errr, Coral Springs. Err...FT LAUDERDALE!!!

Too many logins suck
Dammit man!! Have you ever gone through Yahoo's system for a lost pw? Well....do your very best'est NOT to...umkay? Why can't they be like everyone else and allow a quick, "Click here if you've lost your password" instead of giving out all this personal info? I thought by falsifying some of my personal info @ the beginning was a GOOD idea. Turns out the opposite is true.
Ha...yeah....let's just say it's been that kinida day. Either way, i know one thing. I need a better system of keeping track of em all. Let's see...between work and home, i think i'm right around 12 different ones. Shit, maybe even 15.
Oh well....big time worries there eh? Of ocurse not....i just didn't have anything else to blizzog about.
(And YES........I'm SORRY to ANYONE i offended on my 4th of July RANT last week)
Peace!

Back to work time....
Hope your holiday spectecles were cool. We just chilled @ the crib due to financial considerations. But that Macy's show in DC was waay cool.
Anywho...i just thought i'd say hi and by real quick like.
Oh, I found this link to a "former" Iraqi war reporter that you MUST READ. But be warned...it's NOT for the faint of heart.
It's just a REALITY CHECK. A very groteqsue one to say the least. The story of the battle and his subsequent embedding removal orders is also on his blog and is good reading. I highly recommend it.
Peace fuckers

Not so happy 4th
So if you're one of the lucky one's who've managed to avoid any ill effect of this administrations pathetic governing, then HAPPY 4th!!
But if you HAVE been affected, There's always next year right?
*EDIT*
What i meant by "ill effect(s)" is hmmmm....let's see. Maybe $4/gal gas? # of people layed off highest since 2002 for the month of June this year? Avg of 20-30% increase in food prices? Highest foreclosure rates since the mid 80's?
Basically EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US is being affected by this crap.
And i know i said i wouldn't, but here goes:
TWICE!!! (ok, so he really STOLE the presidency in the first place)
And you know what the sickest part of all this mess is? That there are people out there who STILL SUPPORT him. In-fucking-credible isn't it?

2008 Ninja 250R
Wow! I'm in love with this friggin bike. From everything i've read on it, it's a super steal for $3500. 60MPG isn't that bad either.
And YES! I know the risks associated with riding a motorcycle on the streets today. Fully aware trust me. But guess what? I'm not Bryan Kinevil!!
I'm just a dude who wants to save gas/money getting to and fro. (and look good doing it) ;-p
But seriously.....if things work out right, I hope to have one very soon.
(anyone want to buy a 04 Suzuki?) lol
Check out these links and tell me whatcha think.

GTAIV really is......
as good as the interweb hype would have you believe. I've only played STORY MODE so far. Trying to become more proficient in controlling Niko and his driving before I jump into multi-player.
I hadn't planned on hitting one of the Mid-night release stores until earlier in the evening. I was already up at my folks place around 9ish, and since the drive home takes me past 3 diff Gamestop's, I just hung out at my parents until 10:45pm, got to the Gamestop by 11pm. I was going to drive by another store right down the road, but when I saw that there was only 15-20 ppl outside, I parked and jumped in line. That's not the funny part!
Once i get to the counter and ask for the 360 version, the guy asked for my "pre-order receipt". Which I didn't have bcuz I didn't pre-order. He kinda looked down at me and said, "Midnight release is ONLY for those who PRE-ORDERED" and that they only had 3 "extra" copies to sell. I almost laughed, but instead, realized I was on the verge of losing out on the early release and said something to the effect of "If you don't sell it to me after waiting in line for an hr with a bunch of smelly, zit-faced geeks", but before i could continue he rang me up. Whew!
So far I'd say I'm at the 2hr mark......so with another 38 or so to go, yes. I haven't even cracked the game's surface. But what I have done so far is mastered the map/phone system. And fighting/shooting for the most part. Killed a couple of targets. Jacked and subsequently totaled a few cars around Queens, and Brooklyn.(Broker & Dukes)
The game comes with another one of those fold out maps. Only Liberty City seems far more massive than San Andreas did on the maps. And it contains other info about the city/game along it's edges on both sides. Pretty cool.

Not a April Fool's Post
What's the point? Done it a hundred times, kinda lame @ this point. But that's just me, on this particular day. Next year I'll say the complete opposite.
I got a txt msg from Keith today, saying he "saw someone get murdered in cold blood last night" while he was at some festival up in NPR. And at first I didn't believe him. Being the prankster he's known to be. So i hopped on TBO and sure enough. Dude put 5 or 6 bullets in some guy on the sidewalk with a heavy police presence all around him. ???
In other news........April 29th is just around the corner. I'm just as excited at the next guy @ the chance to play GTA4, and found the "History of Grand Theft Auto" @ IGN

Happy Birthday...........
to VIAGRA. 10 years worth of stiffy's is something. 10 years of stiffy's w/o medical attention is also highly dangerous. Like that disclaimer for Cialis that says: "erections lasting longer than 4-6 hrs should seek medical attention" Ha! Ya don't say? Can u imagine how much money they've made off of guys, well.........getting off? Millions or Billions?
Hmmm. Makes u wonder what else some of these pharm co's have secretly stashed away in a test tube somewhere. We've mapped our own DNA, figured out how to split an atom, and sent men to mars. How come there's no little red/green/yellow, whatever color, that you could take for, say........the common cold.
Or is it just that getting and maintaining a boner is far easier than killing germs? Yeah, that must be it.

Time to upgrade
So chk out the new gear I'm looking at getting. I've been thinking of upgrading my PC these past few months, and now's the best time. And since the decision process is so much fun when looking at new gear, I figured I'd share with ya.
-CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB Cache
-CPU cooler Zalman 9500A 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
-Motherboard ASUS P5K DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35
-Video Card GIGABYTE GV-RX387512H Radeon HD 3870 512MB
For the processor, you can't beat Intel's Q6600 right now. It's fast, affordable, and overclockable as hell. And since the option of OC'ing is now on the table, an aftermarket cpu cooler is a MUST. I went with the Zalman for the CPU cooler, and the highly rated Asus P35 deluxe mobo.
And finally.....with the recent price drops for both Nvidia's 8800GT AND ATI's 3870, (both under $200 now), AND Nvidia's launch of the new 9000 series, i decided to upgrade the vid card as well. Which wasn't easy due to all the new choices/considerations. I've always wanted a 8800GT and the 9600GT is really inticing. But after all my research, the Radeon 3870 sat squarely at the top of my list. Mainly due to the "cost vs performance" factor.
So now it's time to mosey on over to Newegg, and start shopping!!!
